HKC AGM: Our Annual General Meeting and 4th birthday is on May 4th (May the fourth be with you - get it?). Please make yourselves available for this meeting. It coincides with Wednesday night training and we will be having a meeting and dinner at the Parrot and Jigger from 6pm so please registered members, you are all welcome.

June 11th-12th, 2005

HKC Seminar & Grading: Hutt kendo Club will be holding a seminar for it's members on the weekend of 11th-12th June at our dojo. There will be an opportunity for beginners & lower kyus to grade. The seminar is free but there will be fees for the grading.

June 30th - July 3rd, 2005

National Competition & Winter Camp: Both hosted by Auckland, this year's National Competition & Winter Camp are being combined this year. Participants will need to be fully paid up members of the NZKF. The seminar will be on the Thursday/Friday (30th, 1st) and all people wishing to attend the grading MUST participate in the seminar.

September 11th 2005

Beginner's Seminar: There will be a seminar for HKC beginners on Sept 11th - we will be getting you to try on some armour! The seminar will run from 2pm to 4pm. It will be in the normal dojo at Naenae College.

October 2005

Rebuden Taikai: The annual Rembuden Taikai is on the 1-2 October (with ji-geiko on the evening of 30th September). More details can be found here, including a map to the venue (which is different from previous years). Spectators are welcome, no charge to watch.

December 2005

HKC Grading: There will be a grading for Hutt Kendo Club members on Monday 14th December.

HKC Xmas BBQ: The Hutt Kendo Club Xmas BBQ will be at Anita & Scott's house on Sunday 18th December. Club members & their families welcome. Start will be around 1pm. Further details will be emailed to club members.

Final session 2005: Monday December 19th will be the final session of 2005.
